Hi Guys, its Jemma here. Welcome to Jing Life and to our Special Report on the 5 Ways to Help Keep Cancer at Bay. This is the first part of the special breast cancer report. Stay tuned for the audio coming soon!. Firstly, I’d like to express my gratitude to you for visiting my website and how privileged and grateful I am to be able to contribute to the Breast Cancer Charity and to all women. Most of us have experienced breast cancer directly or indirectly through a family member, a girlfriend or have experienced it ourselves. We need to understand how we can empower ourselves, empower our mother, aunts, girlfriends and children so we can all rise above the common beliefs of breast cancer being a reality for women in the future.

So thank you for joining me for this report, it was important for me to contribute to you in some small way. Now, even though you may have heard the following information before, I hope you will still find something useful to assist your wellbeing and improve your lifestyle.

What I’ll be sharing with you are some guidelines on what you Eat and Drink, how you Move, what to wear, how to Feel and how you would Think. Our choices and approach to these 5 fundamental human activities will shape our lifestyle and in return greatly impact our state of mind, longevity, relationships, health, wellbeing and most certainly reduce the risk of this disease.

I understand that at times we take things for granted when it’s given to us all at once, so I’ve decided to send this report to you in small morsals for you to absorb and take in at your own time. The next parts of the report will be sent to you every couple days.

To support and provide you with unique information for the first part of this report comes from attending wonderful workshops with Don Tolman, a great teacher renowned for his wisdom on wholefoods, who brought to my attention the Ancient Wisdom and concepts of Signatures in nature, which means eating and drinking from natures table.

As our ancestors in Ancient Times had the wisdom and understanding that everything in nature had a purpose and that we are all interconnected and are One with Nature and the Universe.

There are many examples of signatures in nature, and by the way, look at this word and break it down. It means Signs of Nature. When you cut a carrot what do you see inside? The ancients related this to the iris of a human eye, later modern scientists found beta-carotene in carrots are good for our eyes. When you break open a walnut shell you get two halves and the walnuts resemble the right and left hemispheres of the brain. It’s been proven that walnuts are great for brain functions. When you cut a tomato it looks like the heart and it’s colour is the symbol of the heart.

What else? Celery are like the bones in our body, broccoli looks like lungs, bean sprouts looks like and are good for the male sperms, kidney beans are great for the kidneys, avocadoes cut in half with the seed inside resembles the womb and the foetus, and can you believe it, the avocado tree takes 9 months to bear fruit, exactly the same length of time for a full pregnancy term.

Doesn’t this make sense!!! There’s so much more to learn to reconnect us back to nature and the wisdom that’s available to us that has always been there but taken away to dis-empower us. Let’s begin to learn the truth and empower ourselves to our greatness.

In Ancient times they had the sensory and intuitive connection with nature and their surroundings that they could literally look at a food source and know which part of the body it was good for and what are it’s benefits to the human being.

Now for us modern people, and most of us who rely on fast foods, packaged foods, homogenised foods have somehow nullified our senses and our innate ability to know what is good for us. We’ve unfortunately lost the wisdom that lives in us all to help guide us through life with knowingness and empowerment of our own lives and welfare.

We’ve underestimated and have been disconnected to the wisdom that still lies amongst the indigenous tribes of the world who still holds the key to longevity, spirituality, community, true self identity and rituals that connect us back to the Universe, to Nature and to each other.

So the following information in Part 1 on “What to eat and drink from natures table” are highly recommended by Don Tolman after his years of study in anthropology, archaeology and modern medicine and complementary medicine. I’ve accepted, absorbed and integrated his information into my own life and feel amazing as a result of it.

You can find this and more information in his wholefoods reference book called Farmacist Desk Reference, the world’s first encyclopaedia of Wholefood Medicine and contains healing wisdom for all ailments and diseases.

A Blessing From My heart to yours…

“May you be filled with strength and willpower to create a life that you deserve, a new way of living, a new way of being and the courage to face any obstacles, challenges that may arise throughout your journey in this lifetime. To be the magnificent warrior that you are who faces all obstacles with ease, grace and humility and believe in your heart that there’s always a great lesson, a great gift and immense growth that comes from every challenge.”

Much love and appreciation,

Part I

(Eating and Drinking from Natures Table.)

The Following a guidelines that can assist each and everyone of us to a better quality of life. Treat them as guidelines and not rules, dance and play with them without engaging the guilt tripper that we seem to all share.

Findings in recent research suggests that adding the following foods to your diet as well as avoiding some could significantly lower your risk of breast cancer.

  1. Eating raw or lightly blanched vegetables are far more beneficial to our health and longevity, than eating cooked dairy foods and vegetables where most of the nutrients are destroyed through the heating process.
  2. Eat yellow orange vegetables, they’re high in beta-carotene, which has shown in many studies to lower rates of breast cancer.
  3. Cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, radish, rutabaga, turnips and turnip greens, all contain indole-3-carbinol, which lowers women’s levels of a type of oestrogen that promotes breast cancer.
  4. Eat tomatoes, including raw, cooked, dried, soups and juices to fill up on a compound called lycopene. Having diets that are high in lycopene are linked to lower rates of breast and prostate cancer.
  5. Concord grapes have cancer remissive powers, as do sun dried raisins.
  6. Eat a bowl of dark cherries as they’re a top source of a compound that may inhibit mammary cancers.
  7. Eat whole fruit oranges and tangerines, compounds called limonoids are found in the peel and white membrane of these fruits.
  8. Eat nuts and seeds that are rich in omega-3, such as flax, pumpkin and walnuts as research suggests that women with higher tissue levels of omega- 3s have lower rates of breast cancer. Also flaxseed has 75 times more lignin precursors, an awesome plaque remover and compounds that inhibit mammary tumors.
  9. Avoid refined grains and choose whole grains instead. Studies have shown that women who ate more refined grains had more breast cancer. Another study showed women who ate one serving a day of a cereal high in wheat bran lowered their level of breast cancer-promoting oestrogen.
  10. In one study, women who ate a serving of spinach at least twice a week had half the rate of breast cancer of women who avoided it.
  11. Use butter over margarine, butter contains CLA’s. One study suggests that a diet higher in trans-fats may increase the risk of breast cancer. Margarine, most French fries, both frozen and fast – food and many processed and fried foods made with hydrogenated fats are a top trans fat source. If you prefer margarine, use a trans-fat free brand or cold pressed olive or coconut oil.
  12. Garlic kills breast cancer cells. Eat it raw in foods. But if you’re going to cook garlic, always peel and chop, then let it rest for 10 to 15 minutes before you heat. Heating right away doesn’t allow time for the cancer-inhibiting compounds to develop.
  13. Flavourful veggie burgers and veggie sausage won’t form the same compounds that meat does when it’s being cooked and those compounds may explain why women who eat lots of red meat and lots of very well done meat always, get more breast cancer.
  14. Phyto herbs, like Don Quai, fennel, black cohosh are also weak oestrogens that compete with stronger oestrogens for oestrogen receptor sites.
  15. Stop eating animals and cooked dairy product.
  16. Avoid smoking.
  17. Instead of commercial “olive oil” dressings, usually made with a mixture of oils, make your own easy dressing with half virgin olive oil and half balsamic vinegar. Studies have shown that Mediterranean women who eat lots of virgin olive oil have low rates of breast cancer.
Don’t Feed Your Tumor’s Sweet Tooth.
  18. Feeding your tumor’s is by having a sweet tooth. Whether the sugar you eat is sucrose, refined white sugar, or fructose, maltose or dextrose, which are the sugars that are also used as commercial sweeteners, it all turns into blood sugar, known as glucose. One of the first things to do is to get off the sugar. You can do that by staying away from sugary desserts and not adding sugar to any food.
  19. Drink water that’s distilled, purified or natural spring water. Invest in a portable purifier or install one in your kitchen and showers.
  20. Drink green tea, hot or cold. Green tea is rich in EGCG, a compound that inhibits breast cancer cells. Caffeinated brands have twice as much potency as decaffeinated, while most bottled brands have little. Mix with herbal teas and lemon peel to taste or naturally sweeten with a little concord grape juice, super low glycaemic Agave or sweet leaf.
  21. Drink tomato juice to fill up on a compound called lycopene. Having diets that are high in lycopene are linked to lower rates of breast and prostate cancer.
  22. Warm a mug of organic, hormone-free raw milk, known as Alta Dena, add one tablespoon of ground almonds, pumpkin seed or walnuts or one-fourth of a table spoon of natural almond extract and enjoy it a t bedtime. Why not fat-free milk? Because there’s an intriguing compound in milk fat, including butter, known as conjugated linoleic acid, which rids breast cancer cells.
  23. Reduce alcohol intake or avoid all together.
So here, you now have some of the great foods you can start to implement into your diet that will guide you to greater health and vitality.
  24. carcinogens (cancer-causing chemicals agents) can leach into the water YOU are drinking. It’s better to invest in water bottles that are really meant for multiple use such as stainless steel or glass containers. According to water-filtration company Brita (owned by bleach giant Clorox), Americans discard 38 billion plastic water bottles per year, and it takes 1.5 billion barrels of oil to produce them. Can you imagine how many bottles are discarded per year worldwide?
Buy a stainless steel flasks or glass bottles. You will not only save more money using reusable containers and water filters, you’re saving the environment as well.

I’d like to share a quote with you by Albert Einstein.

“Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet.”
quoted in Sinfully Vegan
