Part 4

Hi, how are you? Welcome to the 4th Part of this Report! We are getting close to the end, I trust so far it has been helpful to you and that you have enjoyed the information. For now, I want to ask you some questions!

Are you consumed with your thoughts, do you spend a lot of time thinking in your mind? Are those thoughts of the past, the future, the worries you have, the fears you have or are they of the present moment and gratitude for what you have in your life?

How are your thoughts right now? How are you feeling?

How’s your body, do you feel tired, tight and experience pain? Do you feel annoyed and short tempered on a regular basis?

Would you be interested in knowing how to to feel alive and happy most of the time?

If your response has been yes to any of these questions I have posed to you, I’d like to suggest you start with addressing your inner health and wellbeing. By looking at the relationship between your thoughts and feelings, creating stress or harmony in your inner life can either bring sickness or wellness and all starts with your state-of-mind.

To give you an example, can you remember a time you felt worry over something or anxiety, this then leading to a sick feeling in your stomach and/or a headache, this then amplifies the feeling of stress and anxiety and it becomes a vicious circle compounding on its self.

Why is this? How quickly it occurs is the direct result of our thoughts manifesting feelings in our physical being. Our body has this immediate reaction to our thoughts because it is built to do so. Adrenaline glands are directly related to fear, to help us have strength and speed when we need it to escape danger, so it isn’t something that we need to fix, but rather to understand how intrinsically linked these two parts of us are.

Different people store stress in different parts of their body, I may feel nervousness in my stomach (relating to my emotional state)and it could also be in my throat (linked to my need to communicate), but for other people they could feel nerves in other areas of the body, a tightness in the chest (relating to their heart of feelings they need to express) or a pain in their lower back for instance (possibly linked to worry or feeling a lack of support in their life).
This is because thoughts are energy and energy are thoughts. We’re made up of what you call “life force” or “vital energy” and the thoughts are carried through the energy systems in the body. In the teachings of yoga and qigong, this life force (CHI) is in everything we see around us, meaning every living thing has an energy system supporting it, without it, it dies. This life force energy also run throughout all systems in the body with the brain, blood, organs powering us like an electric circuit down to our cellular level. So, it’s important to understand that our physical and emotional state of health is a direct link to how we think.

There are many spiritual teachers, scientists, health experts that will talk about this link between body and mind and more recently films like “What the Bleep Do We Know” and “The Secret” delve further into the science supporting this theory of the link between our thoughts and what we create and experience in our life.

There’s one particular reknown scientist, a cell biologist named Dr. Bruce Lipton who has brought scientific evidence to prove that the biochemical effects of the brain’s functioning show that the cells of our body are affected by our thoughts. He says;

“Positive thoughts have a profound effect on behaviour and genes but only when they’re in harmony with subconscious programming. Negative thoughts have an equally powerful effect, when we recognize how these positive and negative beliefs control our biology, we can use this knowledge to create lives filled with health and happiness.” says Dr. Lipton.

Just for a moment, let me run through the positive and negative emotions that affect the organs of the body based on Traditional Chinese Medicine.

HEART
The negative emotion that affects the functioning of the Heart is Sadness, years of holding onto sadness can have a huge impact and can cause illness in this organ. It can also affect the Small Intestine and Circulation.

On the other hand the positive emotion that strengthens the functioning of these organs is Joy.

SPLEEN
The negative emotion that affects the functioning of the Spleen is Worry, years of worrying can have a huge impact and can cause illness in this organ. It can also affect the Stomach.

On the other hand the positive emotion that strengthens the functioning of these organs is Trust.

LUNGS
The negative emotion that affects the functioning of the Lungs is Grief, years of grieving can have a huge impact and can cause illness in this organ. It can also affect the Large Intestine.

On the other hand the positive emotion that strengthens the functioning of these organs is Forgiveness.

KIDNEYS
The negative emotion that affects the functioning of the Kidneys is Fear, years of being scared can have a huge impact and can cause illness in this organ. It can also affect the Bladder.

On the other hand the positive emotion that strengthens the functioning of the of these organs is Courage and Strength.

LIVER
The negative emotion that affects the functioning of the liver is Anger and Frustration, years of holding onto anger and frustration can have a huge impact and can cause illness in this organ. It can also affect the Gall Bladder.

On the other hand the positive emotion that heals and strengthens the functioning of these organs is Kindness.

Creating health and wellbeing is also achieved by being mindful of our thoughts and how they impact the energy and health in our body. How they shape our attitudes, behaviours and how they become imprints in our genes.

So What is the way to think our way away from Cancer?

I believe it’s being mindful and responsible of every thought we have and how we respond to them and not be victims to every negative thought, therefore reacting in such ways that cause negative energetic impact in our body.

One tool you can learn, master and integrate into your daily life is meditation. In the Stillness you can awaken the Observer within who watches and observes the busyness of your mind. The mind is also described as the Raging Bull or the Monkey Mind.” So you can say, it is the Art of Taming the Raging bull or Monkey Mind which we must master. It never is easy to begin with and the mind will create ways to avoid it, but if you commit to meditating every day with the minimum length of 15 mins, you will definitely experience a profound positive effect to your whole entire being. I’m currently working on a special Meditation CD to help guide you through this simple 15 minute meditation, ‘Meditating Your Way To A Happy Day’ so stay tuned for that.

As you develop the ability to observe everything in the world before you ‘experience it’, you will learn to control the emotional connection you mind has to your body and avoid it negatively effecting you thus becoming more peaceful and accepting of yourself and others and feeling a sense of freedom and connectedness with everyone and everything because your mind has become stable, and therefore your emotions have also. You’re able to see things from a place that feels good inside, this place is in your Heart.

I invite you to live in your Heart with Openness and Compassion and learn the ability to ‘forgive’ and ‘accept’ as these will only heal and strengthen yourself and will create a life of happiness and good health for you and others.

Finally I’d like to say how grateful I am that you have joined me for this part of the report as I feel this is one of the most important things to understand how we can create a magnificent life for ourselves and how we can utilize our extraordinary mind as a tool to create a positive world for all.

I look forward to sharing the next report with you, part 5, “Resources to Help Keep Cancer at Bay.”

All the best and take care until next time.

Much Love and service,

Jemma
